3.6.2 Voltage spike.
A voltage spike is an energy-limited transient waveform having a duration less than or equal to
1 ms. These typically result from the interaction of the power delivery system wiring and switching of reactive loads or a mismatch in impedance between the wiring harness and equipment. Figure 3 shows an example of a spike waveform.
